ReveCork Micro-Cork Basis is an ecological, vapor-permeable and energy-saving base coat for ReveCork Micro-Cork Finish based on evaporated natural cork particles, aerogel and elastic, breathable and waterproof emulsions. It is waterproof, moisture regulating and mildew resistant. It provides thermal insulation by minimizing heat loss in winter and heat absorption in summer. In addition, it improves acoustics by reducing unwanted echoes, reverberation, reflections and background noise. It is also fire retardant and highly elastic, making it effortlessly handle movements such as shrinkage and expansion. It adheres to all building materials and resists scratches and dents.

ReveCork Micro-Cork Basis is used as a base for Micro-Cork Terminacion applied with stucco trowel or mortar gun for seamless finishing of bathrooms, toilets, kitchens and floors.
Supplies for 15m2:
1x 4 liter Fixative MK-550 (primer)
1x 15 liter Micro-Cork Base
1x 15 liter Micro-Cork Terminacion
1x 1 liter of Micro-Cork Varnish
Processing:
Day 1
Step 1: Apply Fixative
Step 2: Allow Fixative to dry for 24 hours
Day 2
Step 3: Apply Micro-Cork Basis in a thin layer (with stucco or mortar gun)
Step 4: Allow Micro-Cork Base to dry for at least 24 hours (must be thoroughly dry)
Day 3
Step 5: Apply first layer of Micro-Cork Terminacion smoothing
Step 6: Allow Micro-Cork Terminacion to dry for at least 3-4 hours (should no longer stick)
Step 7: Apply second layer of Micro-Cork Terminacion with desired structure
Step 8: Allow Micro-Cork Terminacion to dry for at least 24 hours
(Optionally, a third coat of Micro-Cork Terminacion can be applied after 3-4 hours, which must then dry for at least 24 hours before applying the Varnish)
Day 4
Step 9: Apply first coat of Micro-Cork Varnish
Step 10: Allow Micro-Cork Varnish to dry for at least 1 hour
Step 11: Apply second coat of Micro-Cork Varnish
Step 12: Allow Micro-Cork Varnish to dry for at least 72 hours before using the space
