ReveCork Fina is an ecological, vapor-permeable and energy-saving stucco paste based on evaporated natural cork particles, aerogel and elastic, breathable and waterproof emulsions. It is waterproof, moisture regulating and mold resistant. It provides thermal insulation by minimizing heat loss in winter and heat absorption in summer. It also improves acoustics by reducing unwanted echoes, reverberation, reflections and background noise. It is fire retardant, highly elastic which makes it effortlessly handle movements such as shrinkage and expansion. It adheres to all building materials and resists scratches and dents.
ReveCork Fina can be applied to walls and ceilings indoors with a plasterer’s trowel or drywall sprayer.
Always apply a FijaExtrem Fixative primer first. On a concrete substrate FijaExtrem Fixative 100. On other substrates FijaExtrem Fixative 200.
Apply with a stucco trowel:
Sand the substrate and/or clean with hydrogen peroxide if mold is present and make sure it is dust-free before applying primer.
Apply FijaExtram Fixative with a roller and allow this primer to dry for at least an hour.
Apply the first layer of cork mortar very thinly and evenly and let it dry until the cork mortar no longer sticks to your fingers.
Then apply the second coat in a slightly thicker layer as evenly and smoothly as possible. This layer does not have to be completely opaque yet. Allow second coat to dry until the cork mortar no longer sticks to your fingers.
Then apply the third layer of cork mortar as evenly as possible over the surface and then use your plasterer to spread the cork mortar well by going over the cork mortar with your plasterer from bottom to top.
