Plastering with Cork

The team at Stucen met Kurk consists of José Maria (Joséma) Gamero Bermudo and Anja van Elteren.

Since June 2024, we have been the exclusive distributor of ReveCork’s cork mortars and stucco pastes, ZeramicXtrem’s ceramic paints and FijaXtrem’s primers.

José was pretty much brought up on plastering. His father was a master plasterer and owned a plastering company where José’s brothers also worked.

For the past few years, José has become increasingly interested in natural materials. And so in early 2024 – in his hometown of Utrera, no less – he discovered mortars and stucco pastes made of cork.

Together with Anja, José ran a plastering company in the Netherlands. Since two years they live in beautiful Vejer de la Frontera in Spain. There Anja has a coworking and helps B2B companies with their marketing. For Stucen met Kurk, in addition to marketing, she is also responsible for sales.

The manufacturer of the products we distribute has a difficult Spanish name, but fortunately you can also call them RTS Spain.

The company is based in Utrera, a place near Seville in Spain. They started developing and testing their products in 2006 and in 2015 they were introduced to the market.

The company is currently still mainly active in northern Spain where it can be cold in the summer and hot in the summer. In addition to the Netherlands, there are also distributors in Canada, America and Great Britain, among others.

The team at RTS consists of five people who focus on product development. Inventory is kept as low as possible. And production of most products happens only after an order is placed. That production takes 10 business days in most cases.
